Sheep Blood Agar is a highly nutritious, general-purpose medium used for the isolation and cultivation of both fastidious and non-fastidious microorganisms from clinical specimens. It also allows for the evaluation of bacterial hemolytic reactions.

Chocolate Agar is a non-selective enriched medium used for the isolation and cultivation of fastidious microorganisms, especially Neisseria and Haemophilus species, from various clinical samples.
